Description

Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure and AWS to support data modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of a real-time data analytics platform for student attendance monitoring.
• Execute cloud migrations from legacy on-prem systems such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation and engineering best practices.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all cloud solutions.
• Mentor junior cloud engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
• Proficiency in both Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience setting up cloud data platforms and warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.
• Experience implementing real-time data streaming and processing using Kafka, Spark, Amazon Kinesis, or Azure Stream.
• Proficiency in ETL and data migration scripting using Python, Spark Scala, SQL, or Databricks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Relevant professional certifications in Azure and AWS.
