Description

You will design and develop software architectures across On-Prem, Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design AWS architectures that adhere to PCI, HIPAA, FERPA, SOX, and GLBA compliance standards for financial and healthcare data.
• Manage offshore and onsite teams to deliver cloud migration and DevOps projects.
• Develop DevOps practices including test-driven infrastructure code, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build deployment pipelines for Linux and Windows architectures on AWS.
• Engineer serverless DevOps automation frameworks that operate without centralized management infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and systems design.
• Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture and implementation.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows automation.
• Strong experience with Linux architecture and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Expertise in writing AWS CloudFormation templates with nested resources.
• Experience with Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, and Rundeck.
• Proficiency in test-driven infrastructure development using Test Kitchen and Server Spec.
• Ability to manage complex migrations for highly regulated industries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Octopus Deploy, Troposphere, and AWS SDK.
• Knowledge of Chef development using Berkshelf and Kitchen-Ec2.
