Description

You will own the architecture and implementation of large-scale cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure cloud environments, managing deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations.
• Migrate existing ETL jobs into Azure and Databricks, ensuring efficient data processing pipelines.
• Operationalize cloud services for ETL operations through automation, monitoring, and comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with ETL staff to enforce cloud best practices, optimize efficiency, and share knowledge.
• Present technical progress and status updates to CIO-level stakeholders via written and oral reports.

Required Skills

• 15+ years in IT Architecture or Systems design.
• 10+ years designing technical and business solutions.
• Strong experience with enterprise-scale Azure cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, and Ruby scripting.
• Experience with Databricks or Spark-based platforms.
• Knowledge of Git, DevOps monitoring, and continuous deployment.
• Understanding of SAS, Apache Spark, and ETL processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud resources and perform complex system tests.
• Knowledge of high-availability IT operations best practices.
