Description

You will design and architect infrastructure environments using Rancher, Kubernetes, and OpenShift within AWS, managing hybrid cloud deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support, and maintain Rancher in hybrid cloud environments.
• Migrate legacy application workloads to Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Develop custom platform control plane webhooks, CRDs, and operators to ensure platform security.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using automation tools.
• Author Ansible playbooks and roles for platform installation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• 5+ years of experience developing within AWS and configuring AWS cloud services, including EKS.
• 5+ years of experience with observability tools including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or EFK stack.
• 5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• 5+ years of experience with RHEL administration.
• 4+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• 4+ years of experience with Git and Ansible Automation Platform.
• 4+ years of experience developing custom platform control plane webhooks, CRDs, and operators.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for documenting technical information.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements between business teams, customers, and network/security teams.
