Description

You will define and design scalable cloud data architectures aligned with enterprise standards, ensuring performance, cost optimization, and data governance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define target state cloud data architecture, including staging, conformed, and reporting layers.
• Design scalable data models using dimensional, conformed, SCD, and snapshot-based techniques.
• Implement ETL/ELT architectures, metadata management, and data lineage strategies.
• Ensure architectural alignment with cloud-native best practices for security and scalability.
• Support enterprise BI and reporting platforms like Power BI, Looker, and Tableau.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud data architecture and design.
• Strong experience designing cloud-based data warehouses on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on expertise with modern data modeling techniques (dimensional, conformed, SCD).
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT architectures, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Familiarity with enterprise BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-year tenure expectation in previous relevant roles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with healthcare data domains (patient access, revenue cycle, eligibility, clinical operations).
• Understanding of healthcare data sensitivity, audit needs, and regulatory expectations.
