Description

Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud solutions across multi-cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Plan and execute cloud migrations for large enterprise organizations, applications, and database services.
• Design secure systems following state and federal guidelines and cloud shared responsibility models.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using development pipelines and DevOps philosophies.
• Provide governance around cloud services and manage monitoring and alerting solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect with at least two separate professional engagements in this role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, or Bicep.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Azure Automation, Puppet, Chef, or Desired State Configuration.
• Scripting expertise in Python and/or PowerShell.
• Practical knowledge of cloud IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or Jira for Agile project management.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills involving hypothesis testing and root cause analysis.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, SCOM, or SolarWinds.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical architecture concepts to non-technical stakeholders and end-users.
