Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Cloud Architect on behalf of our client in San Francisco, CA. This is a senior-level opportunity focused on enterprise cloud architecture, hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, technology strategy, and large-scale program oversight.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading complex technology programs, developing enterprise cloud roadmaps, guiding cloud migration initiatives, managing technical teams and vendors, and aligning business objectives with enterprise technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and technology teams supporting enterprise cloud and hybrid-cloud initiatives.
Develop strategic and tactical technology roadmaps for mission-critical systems and cloud environments.
Provide program management and oversight across large-scale, high-visibility technology projects.
Lead cloud solutioning, application migration, infrastructure modernization, and integration initiatives.
Evaluate public, private, managed, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Direct architects, developers, analysts, testers, vendors, and other technical resources across multiple projects.
Establish and maintain enterprise technical standards, policies, processes, and architectural guidelines.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, procurement activities, and technical deliverables.
Coordinate issue resolution across technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and business groups.
Develop project plans, schedules, status reports, and executive-level presentations.
Facilitate collaboration and consensus among stakeholders with diverse or competing priorities.
Provide technical guidance on infrastructure, application integration, cloud adoption, and modernization strategies.
Support RFP development, vendor evaluations, technology selection, and procurement activities.
Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, resources, and overall delivery.


Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale technology programs and projects.
7+ years of experience providing leadership for enterprise-level planning, implementation, forecasting, and resource management.
10+ years of experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps, standards, and objectives for mission-critical systems.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms, hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and enterprise cloud solutions.
Strong experience with cloud architecture, solutioning, and application/infrastructure migration.
Experience managing environments involving multiple data centers, hosted infrastructure, SaaS, and cloud platforms.
Experience leading architects, developers, analysts, testers, and other technical teams.
7+ years of vendor management experience.
Strong system analysis and end-to-end project lifecycle experience.
Familiarity with ITIL-based service delivery methodologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication.
Experience developing enterprise technical policies and standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.


Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with public-sector or government organizations.
Experience leading high-visibility technology programs or project portfolios.
Experience managing multimillion-dollar technology programs or budgets.
Experience with program cost management, procurement, ROI, and TCO analysis.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business objectives into technology strategies.
Experience establishing a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
