Description

Design and build performant, cost-optimized systems and data platforms within AWS. You will own the architecture of large-scale data management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale data management systems, including data lakes, meshes, fabrics, and warehouses.
• Implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT technologies using AWS services.
• Create logical and physical database models, including entity relationship diagrams and data dictionaries.
• Present technical solutions to Architecture and Software review boards.
• Analyze complex software systems to isolate defects, assess risk, and understand customer deployments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing and building systems in AWS.
• 10+ years of experience designing data platforms, data lakes, or large data management systems.
• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL/ELT technologies.
• 8+ years of experience designing databases and creating entity relationship diagrams.
• Proficiency with SQL, Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of NIST and FISMA security review and ATO processes.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to stakeholders with varying levels of technical acumen.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
