Description

You will lead the technical architecture and design of cloud-based ETL processes and data ingestion workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design ETL pipelines to move data from various on-premise and cloud sources into Snowflake.
  • Oversee the technical development of ETL and Data Vault structures within Snowflake.
  • Review code and provide technical guidance to data engineers on cloud-based development.
  • Drive the design and development of data ingestion work for large datasets.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for data movement across different cloud environments.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
  • Expertise in Snowflake and ETL design in cloud environments.
  • Practical experience with Data Vault architectural patterns.
  • Proficiency with Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with Streamsets and Prefect.
  • Proven ability to manage and process large datasets.
  • Understanding of cross-cloud data movement.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
