Description

You will own the design, deployment, management, and support of enterprise VMware environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, manage, and support enterprise VMware environments, including vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN.
• Plan, execute, administer, and optimize enterprise VMware environments for operational efficiency and scalability.
• Administer and support TOR switches, vSwitches, Port Groups, and Distributed Virtual Switches.
• Execute system upgrades, patches, migrations, and capacity expansions across multiple VMware versions (7, 8, 9).
• Administer and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructures integrating on-premises data centers with public cloud platforms (AVS).

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with VMware, vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN.
• 7+ years of experience optimizing enterprise VMware environments.
• 7+ years experience administering TOR switches, vSwitches, and Distributed Virtual Switches.
• 5+ years administering and optimizing hybrid cloud infrastructures (AVS).
• 5+ years working with storage technologies (NAS, iSCSI, fiber channel HBAs connected to SAN).
• 2+ years experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.0+ / SDDC stack support.
• 2+ years experience managing NSX with micro-segmentation and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with Python, Java, Shell, or Bash scripting.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years utilizing vRealize/Aria Suite.
• 2+ years working with Dell VxRail HCI.
• 3 months+ experience supporting VCF 9 deployments/implementation.
