Description

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise VMware environments and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise VMware environments including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN.
• Administer and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructures, integrating on-premises data centers with Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
• Execute system upgrades, patches, migrations, and capacity expansions across VMware versions 7, 8, and 9.
• Manage network components including TOR switches, vSwitches, Port Groups, and Distributed Virtual Switches.
• Support VCF 9 deployments and implement micro-segmentation and Zero Trust principles.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN).
• 7+ years of experience planning, executing, and optimizing VMware environments for scalability.
• 7+ years of experience with network administration (TOR switches, vSwitches, Port Groups).
• 7+ years of experience executing system upgrades and migrations across multiple VMware versions.
• 5+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure and Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
• 5+ years of experience with storage technologies (NAS, iSCSI, fiber channel HBAs, SAN).
• 2+ years of experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.0+ and SDDC stack support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vRealize/Aria Suite and Dell VxRail HCI.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or Shell/BASH.
