Description

Design and architect global cloud solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Own the end-to-end technical design using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end technical solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
• Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts while enforcing adherence to architectural standards.
• Guide engineering staff through construction phases and review as-built configurations.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout the lifecycle.
• Proactively guide engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technology roles with extensive experience defining enterprise solution architectures.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and building Databricks-based solutions on any cloud platform.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience designing solutions powered by DBT models integrated with Databricks.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud services including ADF/Lambda, ADLS/S3, Security, Monitoring, and Governance.
• Proficiency in Python and Spark.
• Intermediate knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Engineering concepts.
• Experience with cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption, key management, and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, RBAC, and SSO.
• Experience building mission-critical components with disaster recovery capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing the end-to-end architecture of a unified data platform.
