Description

You design and implement cloud-native architectures and migration strategies for enterprise workloads on GCP and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design GCP landing zones, target state architectures, and migration strategies including rehost, replatform, and modernize patterns.
• Build immutable infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools.
• Lead architecture workshops with technical teams to provide unique solutions for application deployment.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitOps practices.
• Perform periodic architecture reviews to enhance application performance and cost optimization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in technical architect roles with 5+ years specifically in cloud architecture.
• Primary expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with secondary knowledge of AWS.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Proficiency in YAML for configuration and infrastructure definitions.
• Experience designing distributed, fault-tolerant enterprise applications and multi-tier architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, storage, and compute design on GCP and AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and AWS CodePipeline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GKE Automation, Anthos Config Management, and GCVE automation frameworks.
• Background in DevSecOps implementation and SRE lead roles.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK and SonarQube.
