Description

You will manage AWS cloud infrastructure and automate deployment pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and convert application build and deployment pipelines using Gitlab CI.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code to maintain standardized configurations across multiple AWS accounts.
• Create platform automation to monitor applications and ensure compliance with firm standards.
• Develop and support the developer platform portal using React, Typescript, Express, and Postgres.
• Participate in code reviews and release platform updates to production.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience in significant projects.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Containers, Docker, and Gitlab CI.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
• Strong Linux scripting and deployment skills.
• Python development and packaging expertise using Conda, Wheel, Poetry, or Setuptools.
• Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, HTTP, firewalls, and reverse proxies like Nginx or Caddy.
• Practical understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Trunk-based Development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Backstage framework for developer portals.
• Full stack development using React and Typescript.
• Knowledge of Data Science technologies including Spark, Dask, Parquet, Iceberg, Hadoop, Hive, Presto, SQL, Postgres, or Immuta.
