Description

Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure Azure environments, overseeing migrations from on-premises infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
• Oversee migration of on-premises applications and VMware infrastructure to Azure.
• Develop cloud architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Manage and optimize cloud costs and resource efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture.
• 5+ years of experience focused specifically on cloud architecture and infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Proficiency with VMware virtual machines and virtual networks.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, including subnets, NSGs, and VPN gateways.
• Experience designing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (AZ-305 or equivalent).
