Description

Design and deploy cloud-based technical architectures and solution components for hybrid and on-premises environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components leveraging specific cloud capabilities.
• Lead engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges within cloud environments.
• Inform client strategy and design to ensure technical standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
• Recommend tools and solutions based on research of current on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
• Implement DevOps frameworks to manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of architecture design experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux and UNIX.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker, Elasticsearch, Lucene, AWS cloud technologies, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• 3+ years of experience with Ansible, including Kubernetes or AWS Elastic Container Services.
• 3+ years of experience with S3 object storage.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Java, Scala, Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
• 2+ years of experience developing RESTful web services.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architectures, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
• Experience with Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle databases.
• AWS Certification.
