You will manage and optimize cloud resources to improve cost efficiency and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Optimize AWS ECS clusters and Kubernetes environments to reduce unnecessary spend.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm.
• Maintain project documentation and follow security best practices.
• Handle task management and incident tracking via JIRA and Service-Now.

Required Skills

• Experience with AWS, specifically managing ECS clusters.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and the kubectl command line.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, GNU tooling, and system internals.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, routing, and the OSI model.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Helm.
• Ability to script in Go, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with Git, Stash, and Jinja templating.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with APM tools like New Relic.
