You manage database environments and cloud infrastructure across SQL Server and AWS platforms.
This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions including Replication, Log Shipping, Database Mirroring, SQL Clustering, and Always On Availability.
Execute database migrations from on-premises environments to Azure using PaaS and IaaS configurations.
Manage SQL Server lifecycles, including installation, configuration, service packs, hotfixes, and version upgrades.
Perform core DBA tasks such as performance tuning, disk space management, security patching, and backup/recovery.
Configure and monitor Azure SQL Server databases, Elastic DB pools, and Geo Replication.
Required Skills
5+ years of relevant industry experience in database administration.
Expertise in MS SQL Server (2005 through 2016).
Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, RDS, S3, Glacier, SQS, SNS, and SES.
Proficiency in AWS networking and security: VPC, IAM, Route53, and EBS.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation and infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of database maintenance and troubleshooting.
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
