Description

You will design and implement cloud-native data architectures for storage, retrieval, and analysis, while owning the migration of on-premises databases to public clouds.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime during outages.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, sharding, partitioning, and scaling strategies.
• Manage large-scale cloud migrations using Agile development and program management methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in data modeling, integration, warehousing, governance, and security.
• 8+ years with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL in high availability deployments.
• 8+ years with database services including RDS and RDS Proxy.
• 8+ years with database replication and transforming data into cloud-native storage formats.
• 8+ years with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud technology concepts.
• 8+ years in Security, Identity/Access Management, and Monitoring.
• 6+ years as a Cloud platform engineer.
• 6+ years with CI/CD, DevOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Containers), and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, AWS, and RESTful APIs.

Preferred Skills

• 6+ years with API design, Web services, and RESTful APIs.
• 6+ years in mobile and tablet platform development.
