Description

You will design, implement, and manage cloud-based data solutions while leading a team of data engineers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end design and implementation of cloud data architectures.
• Lead data engineering teams to ensure efficient and secure data management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide accessible data for business intelligence and analytics.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code and libraries.
• Build scalable solutions using fundamental design principles.

Required Skills

• 8 to 16 years of experience in data engineering.
• 7+ years with PySpark, AWS Glue, and AWS Redshift.
• 7+ years with AWS CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline).
• Proficiency in Python, Hadoop, Spark, and PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services: S3, EC2, EMR, SNS, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge.
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms like PyTest.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools (Git, SVN, or TFS).
• Bachelor's degree or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud platform certifications.
