Description

Design and validate target architectures for end-to-end data lifecycles, from edge collection to cloud ingestion and storage. Own the delivery of all technical documentation and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate target architectures for data collection, transmission, and persistence.
• Evaluate existing tech stacks to identify and resolve critical architectural gaps.
• Align architecture designs with business requirements and MAP 2.0 initiatives including orchestration, data integration, and ML/AI.
• Provide design recommendations for capacity planning, workload management, and onboarding.
• Manage data access, long-term storage, and visualization requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and design.
• Expertise in Snowflake and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with SAP ECC as a data source using SAP extractors.
• Hands-on experience with Alation for data cataloguing.
• Proficiency with MSFT Azure Active Directory for security and governance.
• Knowledge of data ingestion patterns including streaming, batch, and messaging/queuing.
• Understanding of hybrid infrastructure, including cloud, on-premise, and network options.
