Description

Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data strategies and scalable architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and efficient data models for Snowflake and other cloud platforms.
• Create logical, physical, and semantic models to support self-service BI and AI-driven analytics.
• Define and enforce data standards, governance policies, and data cataloging initiatives.
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to align architecture with business objectives.
• Act as a technical advisor on data-related initiatives across the organization.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data warehouse development.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake and SQL.
• Experience with modern database systems including Teradata, PostgreSQL, Sybase, or DB2.
• Proficiency with ELT processes, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience using data modeling tools like ERwin or PowerDesigner.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and big data technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within agile, cross-functional teams.
