Must Have Skills

7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics platforms, or data architecture 3+ years of hands-on cloud data experience on Azure and/or AWS Strong experience with at least one modern data platform: Databricks Snowflake Microsoft Fabric Production experience implementing Medallion Architecture, including Bronze/Silver/Gold zoning Experience with Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg Knowledge of incremental processing and data quality frameworks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to engage both executive audiences and technical delivery teams

Lead Customer Engagements

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops
• Translate business requirements into modern cloud data and analytics solutions
• Build credibility with executive and technical stakeholders

Shape New Opportunities

• Develop presentations, solution proposals, and statements of work
• Create effort estimates and technical scopes for client engagements
• Partner with sales teams to support pursuit and proposal activities

Design Cloud Data Architectures

• Architect solutions across ingestion, storage, transformation, governance, and analytics
• Implement Lakehouse principles and Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns
• Evaluate platform trade-offs and recommend the best-fit approach

Support Delivery Teams

• Provide architectural guidance throughout project execution
• Review pipeline designs, data models, and implementation approaches
• Identify risks early and help resolve technical challenges

Mentor and Elevate the Practice

• Coach data engineers and junior architects
• Contribute reference architectures and reusable accelerators
• Help establish best practices across the Data & Analytics practice

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics platforms, or data architecture
• 3+ years of hands-on cloud data experience on Azure and/or AWS
• Strong experience with at least one modern data platform:
• Databricks
• Snowflake
• Microsoft Fabric
• Production experience implementing Medallion Architecture, including Bronze/Silver/Gold zoning
• Experience with Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg
• Knowledge of incremental processing and data quality frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage both executive audiences and technical delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Consulting, professional services, or pre-sales experience
• Experience with data governance and cataloging platforms
• Familiarity with DataOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or dbt
• Experience designing real-time and streaming architectures
• Domain expertise in healthcare, financial services, retail, or manufacturing

• SnowPro Advanced Architect
• Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
• AWS or Azure Data Certifications
