Description

Design and implement data architectures for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis within AWS environments. Own the migration of on-premises Oracle RAC/Exadata infrastructure to cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet evolving business requirements.
• Design and execute migration strategies for moving Oracle RAC/Exadata to public cloud environments.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize database downtime.
• Perform database tuning, including sharding, partitioning, and horizontal/vertical scaling to optimize performance.
• Lead cloud deployment best practices and support DevOps functions using continuous integration tools.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in data modeling, integration, warehousing, governance, and security.
• 8 years of experience designing data architectures for efficient storage and retrieval.
• 8 years of experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL in high availability deployments.
• 8 years of experience migrating Oracle RAC/Exadata infrastructure to public cloud environments.
• 8 years of experience with database performance tuning, benchmarking, and system optimization.
• 8 years of experience in Agile development and managing large-scale cloud migrations.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, RDS, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
• Proficiency with GitLab, Jenkins, and RESTful APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Solutions Architect or Cloud Infrastructure Certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
