Description

You will design and implement data architectures for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis within AWS environments. You will lead migration strategies to move on-premises Oracle RAC/Exadata infrastructure to cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet evolving business requirements.
• Implement data integration, warehousing, governance, and security solutions for seamless dataflow.
• Execute database optimization, including tuning, sharding, partitioning, and horizontal/vertical scaling.
• Build high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime during outages.
• Support DevOps functions using software configuration management and continuous integration tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling, integration, warehousing, governance, and security.
• 8+ years of experience designing data architectures for efficient storage and retrieval.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL in high availability (HA) deployments.
• 8+ years of experience migrating Oracle RAC/Exadata infrastructure to public cloud environments.
• 8+ years of experience with database performance tuning, benchmarking, and system optimization.
• Expertise in AWS cloud database infrastructure and data migration.
• Proficiency with AWS, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with Agile development and managing large cloud migrations.
• Experience with SaaS and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Solutions Architect or Cloud Infrastructure Certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
