Description

You will design, implement, and support multi-tier software applications and end-to-end data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test data pipelines and software applications to meet business requirements.
• Develop maintainable, performant, and reusable code for long-term software versions.
• Debug and tune Spark jobs to ensure optimal performance.
• Deliver high-quality, thoroughly tested code supported by unit tests.
• Collaborate with engineering and Ops teams to develop strategic and tactical processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and PySpark.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery and Dataproc.
• Strong SQL skills using BigQuery, Hive, and Spark SQL.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design.
• Knowledge of design patterns and multi-threaded programming.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience architecting end-to-end data flows.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant cloud or data engineering certifications.
• Experience in client and stakeholder management.
