Description

Lead on-premise to cloud database migrations and manage a team of developers while contributing hands-on technical work.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute ETL processes and migrate databases from on-premise environments to cloud infrastructure.
• Guide a team of developers, conducting code reviews and audits to ensure quality standards.
• Perform peer SIT testing and support data ingest, quality, and consumption for the data warehouse.
• Split time between hands-on technical execution and technical leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proven experience with Informatica and IICS data pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouse migrations, specifically Snowflake.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server and Snowflake databases.
• Direct experience managing on-prem to cloud migrations.
• Demonstrated experience in a technical lead role.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Background in analytical reporting migration using Tableau, Qlik Sense, SAS, or R.
• Exposure to Kafka and Kubernetes.
