Description

Architect and build large-scale data pipelines and cloud applications using Snowflake and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes, message queues, and notification services.
• Own the design of compute services, database integrations, and RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain large-scale compute services and database layers.
• Develop RESTful APIs for cloud-based data applications.
• Apply test-driven development and robust software engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Spark cluster-computing and Kubernetes or similar containerization.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and data structures.
• In-depth knowledge of BI concepts and implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree in a technical field.
