Description

You will design and implement data transformations and warehousing solutions within a Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data transformations using Coalesce.
• Develop complex SQL logic including advanced joins, window functions, and CTEs.
• Manage Snowflake workloads and warehousing concepts to ensure performance.
• Translate business requirements into functional data engineering solutions.
• Automate manual processes to improve pipeline efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SQL and Snowflake development.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience building transformations in Coalesce.
• Expertise in advanced SQL, performance tuning, and workload management.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of object storage and IAM patterns.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake advanced features like Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe, and Zero-copy cloning.
• Exposure to event streaming tools such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Event Hubs and CDC tools.
