Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows on AWS, focusing on the bank and financial domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data lakes and warehouses using Amazon S3 and Redshift.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue, Lambda, Spark, and Kafka.
• Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading for performance and cost efficiency.
• Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and ensure data quality and governance.
• Migrate legacy Netezza features to AWS Data Lake and support QA/SIT testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data warehouse technical knowledge.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes, including batch interface data injection and Kafka message processing.
• Experience with IBM Netezza and ability to migrate logic to AWS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation and unit testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / Data Analytics).
• Experience with Airflow (or MWAA).
• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or Delta Lake.
