Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake, leveraging Microsoft Azure and modern data engineering tools.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data integrations using Fivetran, HVR, or Qlik Replicate.
• Write and maintain data transformation logic using dbt and Python.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across ingestion pipelines using DVT or testing tools.
• Implement modern software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, and version control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data transformation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and ingestion.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as Fivetran, HVR, or Qlik Replicate.
• Knowledge of data validation and testing frameworks (e.g., DVT).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt for data transformation workflows.
• Background in full-stack data engineering with end-to-end pipeline ownership.
