Description

You will design and manage scalable, high-availability database solutions within AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design database architectures that meet high-availability and disaster recovery requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated systems for AWS Cloud-based products and services.
• Lead data solution aspects, including setting standards and providing technical expertise to development teams.
• Collaborate with deployment squads and product management to document use case scenarios.
• Monitor automated processes, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for optimization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proven experience as a Cloud DBA with hands-on expertise in AWS.
• Experience with capacity planning, data tiering, and data lifecycle management.
• Ability to design stable, scalable, and high-performance data stores.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation processes.
• Strong documentation skills for engineering and cross-functional practices.
• Ability to mentor team members on new technologies and automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience partnering with QA to create test plans and tooling for production-volume data performance.
