Description

You will design and implement scalable data architectures and migration strategies to move on-premises workloads to cloud-native environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support evolving business requirements.
• Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime during outages.
• Execute migration strategies for moving Oracle RAC/Exadata infrastructure to public cloud environments.
• Optimize database performance using sharding, partitioning, and horizontal/vertical scaling techniques.
• Implement data architectures that ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database architecture and data modeling.
• Expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL, specifically in HA deployments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud database services including RDS and RDS Proxy.
• Proven track record migrating on-premises databases to cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with data integration, warehousing, governance, and security.
• Proficiency with CI/CD methodologies and DevOps tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and Containers.
• Strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
• Experience with API design, Web services, and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Identity/Access Management, Monitoring tools, and platform engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Agile development and program management for large-scale cloud migrations.
• Development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
