Description

You will design, implement, and manage cloud-based database solutions and schemas to support efficient data retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud database schemas, tables, and indexes in collaboration with development teams.
• Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud database performance and resource utilization.
• Resolve performance issues through query optimization and index tuning.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using SQL, Python, and Terraform.
• Implement DevOps practices for database deployment and infrastructure-as-code management.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall database experience.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-based database technologies.
• 12 years of experience with database management systems including MS SQL Server, NoSQL, DB2 LUW, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• 10 years of experience with Amazon AWS S3, RDS, or Amazon Aurora.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and IaaS platforms.
• Experience working on large-scale database projects.
• Ability to analyze critical information and assess upstream/downstream impacts.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
