Cloud Database Engineer

Manage the setup, health, and architecture of relational and non-relational databases within an open systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and document database architecture and schemas.
• Install, maintain, and test database software, upgrades, and patches.
• Develop database utilities, procedures, and automated reporting.
• Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements.
• Manage permissions, tables, and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in technology and software implementation/design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and Oracle.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers.
• Strong understanding of open systems infrastructure.
• Associate degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
