Description

You will own database engineering and automation tasks within the AWS ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain database instances.
• Develop and execute database tests.
• Resolve database-related issues.
• Manage database integration activities.
• Perform database backup and restore operations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years hands-on database experience with Postgres and AWS Aurora.
• Minimum 3 years experience in automation code development and deployment on the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience with AWS DMS, AWS CloudFormation (CFT), and Lambda.
• Proficiency in managing database security configurations.
• Hands-on experience with various RDBMS including DB2, Sybase, and SQL Server.
• Strong background in Cloud AWS development and VPC understanding.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform.
• Familiarity with Mongo Atlas, Document DB, or Dynamo DB.
