Description

You will manage and optimize cloud database infrastructure across multiple platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance improvements by debugging code and optimizing SQL queries.
• Create and develop scheduled database maintenance routines.
• Implement security hardening using a vulnerability-based approach.
• Execute database migrations and complex infrastructure initiatives.
• Automate database tasks using Shell and PL/SQL scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL and Oracle DBA roles.
• Cloud DBA experience with Azure SQL, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency in MS SQL (2005, 2019+) including Partitioning, In-memory OLTP, Resource Governor, and Query Store.
• Oracle administration experience (V11+) including High Availability with DataGuard.
• Technical knowledge of SSRS and SSIS.
• Administrative skills in Solaris and Linux environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Shell scripting and PL/SQL scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure ARM, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• English proficiency at a B2-C1 level.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups and Failover Clustering.
• Management of large-scale SQL databases exceeding 10TB.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and the principle of least privilege.
