Manage and optimize production database systems within cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and tune production database systems for performance and stability.
• Monitor system health and implement optimization strategies to reduce latency.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages to improve efficiency.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployments and manage database migrations.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud DBA.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, or Cassandra.
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Proven experience tuning complex production databases.

Preferred Skills

• Disaster recovery design and implementation experience.
• Expertise in database backup and recovery strategies.
