Description

You will manage database infrastructure and ensure high availability across multiple cloud systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Spanner, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra databases at design, operational, and system levels.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery plans to meet business objectives.
• Implement and support high availability features, including clustering and replication.
• Tune complex database systems across application, database, and system layers.
• Manage database backup and recovery processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with Spanner, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Cassandra.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Jenkins for cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Preferred Skills

• Analytical ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Experience leading database projects or guiding teams.
