Description

You will manage end-to-end database infrastructure, security, and technical implementation for on-premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own database-level security, user/group/role management, and project cybersecurity aspects.
• Configure and support S3 Data Lake environments and manage HA, backup, and restoration strategies.
• Monitor resource utilization, perform capacity planning, and troubleshoot infrastructure faults.
• Develop Cloud Infra BOMs, including costing, cost-saving plans, and cost optimization.
• Document technical implementations and present architecture and strategy to management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on database administration and experience as a Cloud DBA.
• Expertise in Microsoft and AWS stacks, including RDS, Aurora, Redshift, NoSQL, and Lambda.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, Alibaba, and LAMP stacks.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Marts, Semantic Layers, and Data Lakes.
• Experience with complex data models, object-oriented models, and data automation.
• Proven experience working with government agencies.
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion, database design, and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating S3 with Lambda functions.
• Proficiency with analytical tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or R.
