Description

Manage cloud-based databases and ensure high availability across AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design schemas, access patterns, locking strategies, and SQL development.
• Perform database migrations and manage toolsets into AWS environments.
• Execute proactive and reactive performance tuning for application and end-user queries.
• Manage system security, user access control, and parameter configuration.
• Handle cache management, job scheduling, and ad hoc report generation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing cloud databases.
• Strong MongoDB and NoSQL expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Proven track record with database clustering and High Availability (HA).
• Deep understanding of SQL development and SQL tuning.
• Experience with DBMS and general database management.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
