Description

Manage cloud-based databases on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance tuning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design schemas, access patterns, and locking strategies for cloud databases.
• Execute proactive and reactive performance tuning for application and end-user queries.
• Perform database migrations and manage toolsets within AWS environments.
• Manage system security, user access control, and parameter configuration.
• Handle cache management, job scheduling, and ad hoc report generation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing cloud databases.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB and NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Proven track record with database clustering and High Availability (HA).
• Deep understanding of SQL development and SQL tuning.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with DBMS and general database management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
