Description

You will design and develop IoT solutions on the AWS backend cloud platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate system architecture and requirements into performant software alongside architects and product managers.
• Own the IoT backend platform and mentor junior engineers on building high-quality components.
• Develop APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Implement high-volume telemetry data ingestion and processing in cloud environments.
• Collaborate on DevOps practices, including CI and CD.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Cloud Computing with at least one Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering with IoT capabilities, preferably AWS IoT or Google Cloud IoT.
• Experience designing and building horizontally scalable microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with low latency, consistent, simple to use RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Knowledge of MQTT and IoT notification engines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud IoT.
