Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications and infrastructure on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, resilient cloud-native solutions and REST APIs using Python, Node.js, or C#.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and automate infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Modernize legacy applications to be cloud-ready and optimize cloud performance.
• Ensure application security and compliance with standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Python, Node.js, or C#.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions or workflows.
• Solid understanding of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with encryption standards and secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and cost optimization strategies.
• Knowledge of centralized logging (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk) and automated security enforcement (AWS Config, Security Hub).
