Description

You will design, implement, and support cloud-based data management and advanced analytics platforms on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant data lakes and enterprise data warehouses.
• Implement data security protocols including IAM roles, policies, and encryption methodologies.
• Manage cloud networking components such as VPC, NAT, DNS, and VPN configurations.
• Provide technical guidance to data services and application development teams on AWS product implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and process improvements for the cloud platform.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda, Batch, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ECS, ECR, EMR, IAM, and SNS.
• Proficiency in Python for coding and scripting.
• Experience creating and deploying CloudFormation Templates (CFTs).
• Practical knowledge of AWS KMS and encryption methodologies.
• Experience managing S3 Bucket lifecycle policies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts: VPC, NAT, ACL, DNS, Proxies, Firewalls, VPC Endpoints, Direct Connect, and VPN.
• Proficiency with AWS CLI and/or AWS Tools for PowerShell.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience converting Mainframe binary files from EBCDIC to ASCII.
• Windows and Linux administration experience, including managing AWS images.
• Exposure to Mainframe technology, ETL, or Data Visualization tools.
