Description

You will manage AWS cloud environments, automate infrastructure, and enforce FinOps and security standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain AWS resources using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Design and implement resource tagging strategies for cost attribution and governance.
• Monitor cloud spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement FinOps best practices.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and industry security standards including encryption and access control.
• Support CI/CD automation for Typescript, Kotlin, and Ruby applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, EKS, MSK, and IAM.
• Proficiency in Terraform for writing and maintaining configuration files.
• Experience with Kubernetes, specifically Amazon EKS.
• Observability tools experience: CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and AWS MSK.
• On-call incident response and troubleshooting experience in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing compliance regulations such as HIPAA and SOC 2.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
