Description

Design and manage DNS and DDI infrastructure, focusing on AWS migration and Route 53 deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AWS Route 53 infrastructure for highly available DNS services.
• Inventory current DNS systems and collaborate with stakeholders to design modern AWS-based solutions.
• Implement DNS policies, views, and DNSSEC configurations to enforce access control and prevent spoofing.
• Monitor DNS traffic for anomalies and implement security measures against DDoS and cache poisoning.
• Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DNS Engineer.
• Expertise in DNS protocols, DNSSEC, BIND, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Route 53 and cloud DNS migrations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS over TLS (DoT), and DNS over HTTPS (DoH).
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Perl, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and API interaction.
• Experience with network automation for UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to manage DNS firewall configurations and mitigate DDoS attacks.

Preferred Skills

• InfoBlox Certified Implementation Engineer (ICIE) or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
