Description

You will act as the EKS subject-matter expert, guiding cluster design, workload isolation, networking, and access controls for the Infrastructure Engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a secure shared AWS and EKS platform supporting microservices and container-based applications.
• Implement and manage EKS clusters, defining and enforcing RBAC policies, network policies, and compliance standards.
• Drive automation, observability, and resilience by continually improving EKS operational practices and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Own services from development through to production support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, RDS, S3, VPC Design, and Bottlerocket.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes management concepts like Crossplane, Helm, YAML, and ArgoCD.
• Experience implementing cluster networking, ingress, and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies, such as Istio.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitHub workflows.
• Must hold a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
