Description

You will design and implement AWS cloud solutions for enterprise hybrid environments, driving legacy modernization initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-premises systems with AWS.
• Modernize legacy systems using lift-and-shift, re-platforming, containerization, and refactoring.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot issues across compute, network, storage, identity, and container layers.
• Collaborate on hybrid storage strategies involving NetApp ONTAP and caching appliances.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of enterprise IT experience with a blend of architecture and hands-on engineering.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS solutions in enterprise or government settings.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux systems (RHEL or Amazon Linux).
• Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub/GitHub Actions.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Familiarity with AWS-native container services such as ECS, Fargate, and EKS.
• Baseline familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NetApp, caching appliances, or FSx for ONTAP in hybrid environments.
• Exposure to multi-account AWS organizations and hybrid networking design.
