Description

You will lead data migration and cloud implementation projects using GCP and Hadoop ecosystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data migration processes and solutions.
• Analyze data transformation methods to move existing data into new environments or database structures.
• Develop automation, standards, and best practices to improve migration performance.
• Perform data migration audits, reconciliation, and exception reporting.
• Manage data assurance for transforming items between source and target systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Management and Cloud implementation.
• At least 1 year of mandatory work experience with GCP.
• Expertise in Hadoop components and Hive.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, SQL, and GCS Buckets.
• Strong background in Data Engineering and Data Modelling.
• Proficiency in scripting for data migration and automation.
• Experience in data migration solutioning and risk planning.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to provide technical change and support documentation.
